Wings Among Wildflowers | 4x6 Lowcountry Pollinator Trio
Wings Among Wildflowers brings together three small pollinator moments inspired by native flowers, quiet gardens, and field-edge habitats of the South Carolina Lowcountry.
This framed 4x6 trio includes a bumblebee visiting Black-eyed Susan, a Gulf fritillary among passionflower blooms, and a white-lined sphinx moth feeding from blazing star. Each piece is designed with a soft field-guide feel, focusing on the small relationships between native blooms and the winged visitors that depend on them.
The bumblebee and Black-eyed Susan print captures a familiar summer scene: a pollinator moving across the open flower head in search of nectar and pollen. The Gulf fritillary and passionflower piece reflects a closer plant-and-insect relationship, pairing the butterfly with one of its most recognizable host plants. The white-lined sphinx moth and blazing star print adds a meadow-like moment, showing a long-bodied moth visiting upright purple blooms.
Together, the set feels like a quiet field guide for the shelf — three small studies of native blooms, pollinators, and the everyday beauty that keeps the Lowcountry alive.
Each artwork is printed through Artelo as a fine art giclée print on smooth hot press paper. Artelo describes its giclée process as high-resolution inkjet printing using pigment-based inks and archival fine art papers, and lists Hot Press as a smooth, matte, 300 gsm, 100% cotton rag paper option.
The prints are presented in natural oak frames with easel backs, making them ready for tabletop, shelf, desk, bedside, or entryway display. Artelo notes that easel backs are included on 4x6 premium frame orders.
