About Palmetto Lowco
Palmetto Lowco Mercantile was created from a lifelong connection to the South Carolina Lowcountry — its marshes, rivers, live oaks, native plants, birds, wildlife, and quiet places that often get overlooked.
This shop is built around a simple idea: the Lowcountry does not need to be exaggerated to be beautiful. It only needs to be noticed.
The artwork here is inspired by real Lowcountry habitats: tidal creeks, blackwater edges, maritime forests, pine savannas, roadside cottages, marsh birds, native wildflowers, reptiles, and the familiar stillness of the coastal plain. Each piece is created with a vintage naturalist feel, aiming for artwork that feels observed, grounded, and regionally true rather than generic coastal decor.
Palmetto Lowco focuses on South Carolina Lowcountry wall art, botanical prints, bird prints, wildlife artwork, landscape prints, and select everyday goods that carry the same sense of place.
